Course Objectives:
Diagnostic Applications in Dentistry: Various Imaging Modalities and Pathological Interpretations of Oral Lesions (3 hours)
Pathology of Oral Lesions (90 mins)

To provide an in-depth understanding of the types of pathology and specific lesions that are most frequently encountered in the oral cavity

To develop the ability to identify clinical features that will assist in arriving at a definitive diagnosis of pathological conditions

To learn how to correlate radiographic findings with observable clinical features to enhance diagnostic accuracy
Diagnostic Imaging Modalities (90 mins)

Identify normal and variation of normal anatomy of radiographs

Developing analytical strategy to evaluate radiographs and the role of interprofessional collaboration

Follow up on radiographic abnormalities for improved treatment outcomes for the patient
