Course Description
Explore the various preventive options across different life stages, from infancy to aging adults. As dental caries continues to be the most common chronic disease, prevention is a critical component to patient care.
Look at the various challenges facing each age group and what we, as dental professionals, can provide for our patients. We will review caries risk assessments and cover evidence-based recommendations.
This course will review the physiological changes that impact oral health, the importance of early intervention, and strategies for maintaining oral health and overall health for each of our patients.
