Student Opportunities Through SADHA
Empowering the Next Generation of Dental Hygiene Leaders
Being a student member of the WVDHA connects students with educational and leadership opportunities that will elevate the student experience, exposes students to valuable mentorship from experienced dental hygienists, allows students to interact with other students from across the country, and prepares students to be active advocates for our profession.
Student Advocacy Day: Every year, WVDHA hosts Student Advocacy Day at the Legislature, a unique advocacy experience for dental hygiene students/SADHA members that allows students to experience advocacy first hand at our state capitol. Students are exposed to Legislative Sessions and receive training from lobbyists on effective advocacy strategies to advance and protect the dental hygiene profession
